Make Your Voice Heard!
Research and evidence support that Nurse Practitioners provide cost effective, safe, and quality patient care, even in autonomous settings. In fact, there are 49 states that license APRNs (Nurse Practitioners) as autonomous independent providers or in collaborative roles. NPs demonstrate that they do an excellent job of managing chronic health problems, provide cost effective care, reduce healthcare dollars, and reduce hospitalizations.
Contact Your Legislators
Tell your legislators that they need to allow APRNs to practice to the fullest extent of their education and experience so they can help to end the healthcare provider shortage and ensure all South Carolinians have access to the healthcare they deserve! The more constituents they hear from, the more support they'll throw behind our legislation. Phone calls carry the most weight but emails and letters work too!
